Directions for Use:

1. Remove and dispose of your current filter properly.

2. Install a Platinum Meltblown Filter with a press-in fit. Simply tighten the housing lid to hold the filter in place.

3. Monitor your pump pressure weekly.

4. Follow the system manufacturer's recommendation on when to change the filter (usually when pump pressure hits 15 psi above starting pressure). Remove and dispose of the filter; replace with a new Clorox Pool & Spa Platinum Edition Filter.

+ Always remember to loosen the pressure relief valve on the filter tank to release any pressure built-up in the tank so you can easily remove the filter top to gain access to the replacement cartridge you want to replace. If your filter's pressure gauge does not go to 0 pounds when you shut the pump off, then it is time to replace your pressure gauge.
